Confidentiality & Script Protection Policy

Last updated: —

Private scripts

Scripts are private by default. A script is never publicly readable and can only be accessed by its owner or by a brand holding an active, explicitly approved access grant. Approval, rejection, and revocation are entirely under the filmmaker's control — see the film edit page's script access requests panel.

Pitch decks & treatments

Any pitch materials, treatments, or supplementary documents a filmmaker shares directly with a brand (for example, through direct messages or outside the platform) are confidential to that exchange unless the filmmaker states otherwise.

Unreleased projects

Details of unreleased or in-development projects shared through private messages, private film listings, or approved script access are confidential and should not be disclosed by the receiving party without the filmmaker's consent.

Brand campaign information

Similarly, non-public brand campaign details, budgets, or strategy shared with a filmmaker during negotiation are confidential to that exchange.

Confidential brand assets

Brand assets shared for evaluation purposes (unreleased product images, pre-launch materials) may only be used by the filmmaker for the purpose of the placement discussion, not for any other use, unless otherwise agreed.

Unauthorized sharing

Sharing another user's confidential materials outside the platform, or with anyone not authorized to receive them, is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension. Report suspected violations through the Report feature on the relevant profile, film, or product.
